Ground Turkey Nachos with Blue Corn Tortillas

Nacho everyday nachos right here! These Ground Turkey Nachos were absolutely delicious, and simple to make too. It's kinda hard to keep nachos on the healthier side but we tried by using ground turkey and blue corn tortilla chips.

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees, then grab a fry pan or skillet and start browning the ground turkey. Season with a little salt and pepper.
  • Add your seasoning. Mix all together.
  • Add your refried beans. Mix all together.
  • Once the oven is preheated, grab a large baking sheet and layer the blue corn tortillas on them. Feel free to put some parchment paper down beforehand (for easier cleanup).
  • Now, start layering! Add some shredded cheese on top of the tortillas and then a layer of meat.
  • Repeat the layering one more time finishing with a meat layer and throw them in the oven for about 10 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  • Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Notes

This recipe can be made with beef or chicken as well and you can also use regular corn tortilla chips. 
Favorite toppings include:  Salsa, sour cream, guacamole, tomatoes, red onions, cilantro, jalapeno, and lime.
