Ingredients

Instructions

  • Heat some olive oil in a large skillet and add your peppers and onions (and mushrooms if you're using). Season them with a little salt, pepper and garlic powder. When they're soft, transfer them to a bowl and set aside.
  • Add your steak and season with some salt and pepper. Cook, separating the shaved pieces, for about 3-4 minutes until it becomes lightly browned. Don't overcook the meat.
  • Add your veggies back into the pan and mix until thoroughly combined.
  • Cover the meat and vegetables with the provolone cheese right on top and let it melt. If you want it cheesier, once the cheese has melted, give it a good stir and then add another layer on top.

Notes

Throw it all on a soft (and toasted if you prefer) Italian hero and enjoy!
