How do you make ground turkey nachos?
Lucky for us...they're really easy!
Ground turkey, shredded cheese, some tortilla chips, refried beans, a few veggies (if you'd like) and some seasoning is all you need. Add some of your favorite toppings and you're well on your way!
Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees, then grab a fry pan or skillet and start browning the ground turkey. I love using my Lodge Cast Iron skillet for meals like this. The pre-seasoned iron adds a little extra flavor when cooking the meat.
Once the meat is browned, go ahead and add your seasoning and mix in.
Next, add your refried beans and mix all together.
We're almost done!
Once the oven is preheated, grab a large baking sheet and layer the blue corn tortillas on them. Feel free to put some parchment paper down beforehand (for easier cleanup).
Now, start layering! Add some shredded cheese on top of the tortillas and then a layer of meat.
Repeat the layering one more time finishing with a meat layer and throw them in the oven for about 10 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
